Fourth of July Canyon is located in the Manzano mountains
of central New Mexico, about 40 miles southeast of Albuquerque
near the village of Tajique.
The maple leaves there turn a splendid shade of red in October. It is
one of the few places in New Mexico where you can find leaves
other than the aspen yellow at this time of the year.
